One more rant....Am I the only one obsessed with seeing abstract art in landscape photography? My eye is drawn to the scene in so many levels. The natural beauty is obvious, but then the patterns and colors jump out.
Oh well, just tell me to go away. :)

A friend of ours is a painter, and he did a series of painting/collages which strongly resemble your wonderful photo. Where was it taken?

Flying into Salt Lake in Feb. The landscape is so alien to what I am use to seeing. Being from the East Tennessee Mountains. I love it though!
