KC Plaza
Recently traveled through KC and found this area by chance. Built on waste land south of downtown in 20's by businessman that recognized a new trend - people would drive to shop and dine. Area is full of art, fountains and gardens.
These figures adorn to top of a building!

Bizarre sculptures on the top of the building. I love cultural areas like that in the middle of big cities. Tucson hasn't figured it out yet, unfortunately. Thanks for interesting pics and post.
